Very Delicious! The 12 oz ribeye, cooked medium rare was juicy and perfectly prepared, the green beans and mash potato’s were tasty! I would recommend making a reservation before hand as they can get busy especially around 6-7 for dinner time. For dessert, Crèmebrulee. It was sweet and perfect to end dinner with!

The prime rib was great! Really tasty. The lobster was good. I really like the crab cakes. Yum!! Probably some of the best fried zucchini i have had. Service took a little long to get to the table. Need to work on at least getting the drinks right away. Oberall, I will be back.

After many years we returned to Black Angus and were pleasantly surprised. The old restaurant still had its charm. All of the food was cooked perfectly in the Dinner for Two for $69.99. The Spinach and Artichoke Dip was served hot but the chips were over salted. The Grilled Asparagus were cooked well and were seasoned lightly. Classic Baked Potato was served with the right amount of butter, sour cream and chives. The Salmon and Top Sirloin (medium rare) were spot on. Way to go Black Angus, we will be back soon.

Far better than the last couple times my friend and I have been here! I had my suspicions so I asked, and sure enough they have a new chef. Two examples of improvement: 1) The size of the shrimp. Far larger than last time ordered. 2) the prime rib was cooked perfectly medium rare. Had major issues with temps previously. They definitely earned getting my business back. I hope the improvements in quality remain consistently!

Black Angus Steakhouse - Albuquerque stands as a beacon for steak lovers seeking a reliably satisfying dining experience in the heart of New Mexico. Nestled at 2290 Wyoming Blvd NE, this steakhouse balances tradition with an inviting atmosphere, drawing locals and visitors alike into its warm embrace.

The menu is a curated celebration of classic steakhouse fare enhanced by thoughtful accompaniments and appetizers. Signature dishes like the full-flavored ribeye steak, expertly cooked medium rare, promise a juicy and tender bite that keeps diners coming back. The 12 oz ribeye, a crowd favorite, delights with its perfect sear and rich, beefy depth that pairs beautifully with sides like the creamy classic baked potato and vibrant green beans.

Equally compelling are the appetizers that set the tone for the meal. The Grilled Artichoke Appetizer offers a smoky, tender complexity, while the Spinach and Artichoke Dip, served hot, provides a creamy, savory richness that speaks to the kitchen’s commitment to flavor balance. The Steakhouse Chili Nachos bring a bold, spicy kick, a welcome counterpoint to the steaks and seafood.

Seafood options like the lobster tail and fried shrimp complement the menu's hearty meats, adding sophistication and variety to the dining experience. A highlight noted by guests is the Lump-crab cake and the impressive size of the shrimp, suggesting a renewed focus on quality and portion under a new chef. These dishes marry fresh, oceanic flavors with classic steakhouse heartiness.

The sides deserve just as much praise. Macaroni, baby back ribs glazed to perfection, and crispy garlic-pepper zucchini provide textural contrast and vibrant tastes that enhance the overall meal. The loaded baked potato soup and nice side salad add depth and freshness, rounding out a well-thought-out menu. Drinks like the Strawberry Lemonade and the 25oz Brew offer refreshing and robust options to complement the rich flavors on the plate.

For those with a sweet tooth, the dessert selections are equally rewarding. The Sky-High Mud Pie and Spiced Carrot Cake provide the perfect sweet finish, while the Crème Brûlée stands out for its delicate sweetness and creamy texture, an elegant close to an indulgent meal.

Customer feedback highlights the quality and consistency that Black Angus Steakhouse maintains. From perfectly cooked prime rib and sirloin to the attentive seasoning of sides and appetizers, it’s clear the kitchen values craftsmanship. While there have been notes on service speed, the overall welcome and food excellence create a strong desire to return, especially when reservations are made to avoid peak dinner crowds.

In my experience, Black Angus Steakhouse - Albuquerque honors the steakhouse tradition with a refined yet approachable menu. Each dish speaks to balanced flavors, solid cooking technique, and a sincere dedication to satisfying hearty appetites. Whether you’re seated for a quiet dinner for two or celebrating with friends over a full rack of ribs, Black Angus delivers a memorable meal anchored by expertly prepared steaks and complemented by thoughtful sides and appetizers.
